Todd has over 30 years of real estate experience in North America and Europe and co-founded Capital Developments in 2007. He is responsible for oversight and management of all business areas with a focus on corporate strategy, executive resources, investments and capital partners. Prior to Capital Developments, Todd represented TrizecHahn Corporation and was one of the founding executives and CEO of TriGranit Development Corporation from 1996 – 2006. During this time the company established operations in 12 countries throughout Central and Eastern Europe, developed a large portfolio of award-winning projects and positioned TriGranit as one of the leading developers in Central and Eastern Europe. Todd graduated with an HBA designation from the IVEY School of Business and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. He was a founding investor and Board Member of JCM Power, a leading renewable energy provider in emerging markets and has held positions on various corporate and community Boards. Todd continues to pursue a lifetime passion for the outdoors and competitive sports.

Jordan co-founded Capital Developments in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s management including strategy, acquisitions, partnerships and development. He has accumulated over 27 years of real estate experience in North America and Europe. He was formerly the Chief Development Officer of TriGranit Development – one of the leading developers throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Jordan is currently a member of the Innovation Committee at the Peter Munk Cardiac Center, Board Member of Hold’em for Life Charity Challenge (an organization that has raised in excess of $30 million for cancer research), and a member of the Board of Governors of the Bishop Strachan School and a Co-Founder of Kids for Kids. Jordan has a love of family, and enjoys travel and fitness. Jordan has a B.A. from McGill University.

Carlo oversees the day-to-day operations of Capital Developments. Prior to Capital Developments, Carlo co-led high-rise office development for Oxford Properties Group where he managed a pipeline of over $5 billion and active construction of over $1 billion. Carlo has also been a management consultant for both Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. Carlo is an avid traveler having visited over 75 countries, an amateur astronomer, a proud father, and a horror movie enthusiast. Carlo has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Comm from Queen’s School of Business.

Geoff leads the Development Team at Capital Developments. Prior to Capital Developments, Geoff co-led high rise development at Great Gulf where he managed the acquisition and development of several mixed-use projects in Canada and the US now representing 2 Million SF of active construction and a development pipeline of 4 Million SF. Notable projects include One Bloor Street East Condominiums and Frank Gehry’s first residential high-rise project in Canada. Geoff is a ski and snowboarding enthusiast, proud husband and father, and ardent urbanist who takes every opportunity to travel to different cities to experience their culture and interests. Geoff has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business with a specialization in Real Property and Infrastructure and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Joy has over 10 years of real estate experience and has involved and successfully launched more than 9 high rise mixed-used projects throughout the GTA, encompassing over 4,500 residential units and a total sales volume of $2.9 billion. In each case, the project launch out-performed company’s internal targets regarding both sales velocity and revenue achieved. She is involved in every step of the process from inception through sales and marketing process, to completion and closing. Prior to joining Capital Developments, Joy was the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Cresford Developments. Notable projects 1000 Bay, Casa 2 & 3, Gloucester on Yonge(Clover on Yonge), 33 Yorkville and Concord Sky(YSL). Joy is an avid golfer and a snowboarding enthusiast. Joy graduated with an Honours, Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Toronto and she also holds a Real Estate Broker license.

Andrew, who was formerly the EVP, Finance and Investment at Capital Developments, is now an Advisor to Capital Developments and the Managing Director of Homefield Communities. With over 19 years of real estate experience in Canada, Andrew has overseen financial operations and planning for all projects at Capital Developments, including financial modelling and investor relations. He has also overseen the development and execution of the Capital Developments acquisitions pipeline. In his current role at Homefield Communities, Andrew is responsible for the day-to-day operation and growth of the business. Prior to joining Capital Developments, he worked as an Analyst to the CFO at DREAM while Dundee REIT became the largest office REIT in Canada. Andrew was also involved with DREAM as they completed the IPOs for Dundee International REIT, Dundee Industrial REIT and numerous acquisitions. Before his career in finance, Andrew was a structural engineer.

Tim has over 8 years of real estate experience. At Capital Developments, he is responsible for leading the corporate and project accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions. Prior to joining Capital Developments, he worked as Vice-President, Finance for Northcrest Developments and previously as Controller at TAS. Before moving to real estate, Tim spent five years at BDO Canada where he obtained his CPA, CA designation.

Michael leads the Construction Team at Capital Developments with over 15 years of experience in high rise residential construction. Prior to joining Capital Developments, Michael was a Senior Project Manager at Tridel where he managed several residential projects totalling over 2200 suites with construction costs exceeding 1 billion dollars. Outside of work, Michael likes to travel, cycle and is a history enthusiast. Michael has a M.A.Sc. and B.A.Sc from the University of Toronto with a specialization in structural elements and durable building materials.

James is part of the post construction Customer care program at 2131 Yonge Street, and manages the technical audit related to the building. He has experience in high rise construction and has previously worked as a Project Manager for Architectural Firms, managing projects from design stage to construction. James is an avid collector and restorer of vintage electronics and furniture, and he enjoys open water scuba diving.

Alida is responsible for corporate and project marketing on social media. She graduated from Sweden’s Mälardalen University where she specialized in Information Design. Prior to moving to Canada and Toronto in 2021, she worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Sweden’s largest educational publishing company, Studentlitteratur. Outside work, Alida enjoys long walks through IKEA, axe throwing and spending quality time with friends and family, including her cats Kitt and Kasper.

Ashish has more than 15 years of experience in delivering Customer Service in residential real estate. At Capital Developments, he leads the Customer Service team and is responsible for creating an after-sales Customer Experience program. Prior to joining Capital Development, he was Client Care Manager at Remington, successfully delivering projects such as Signature, IQ and York Condominiums. He holds B.Eng. (Civil) from MS University of Baroda (India) and Home Inspection Certification from Seneca College. Outside work, he enjoys reading non-fiction, listening to Indian Classical music, and spending time with the family.

Susanna is Executive Assistant to the Co-CEOs and Office Manager. She is has over 20 years of experience in real estate ranging from property management administration, engineering project coordination and most recently Executive Assistant to multiple C-suite and executive team members at First Capital REIT. Susanna has a BSc Honours in Kinesiology and Certificate in Coaching. She is an avid sports fan, especially Sunday mornings watching F1 racing. Outside of work, she spends most of her spare time dining out and researching the city’s best restaurants as a trusted foodie.

Sarah is responsible for the day-to-day management of many of the company’s development projects. Prior to joining Capital Developments, Sarah worked at Core Development Group as the Manager of Acquisitions, reviewing and underwriting acquisition opportunities for various development sites in the GTA. She also worked at Altus Group on the commercial research team. Sarah enjoys art and design, painting, and caring for her houseplant collection. Sarah holds a M.SC in Planning from the University of Toronto.

Caitlin manages development projects on a day-to-day basis at the company. Previously, Caitlin worked in real estate acquisitions and development in Toronto and New York City. Caitlin has a passion for design, development, and planning, which stems from her love of cities (especially Toronto) and place-making. At Capital Developments, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. Prior to joining Capital Developments, Sari held senior finance or accounting positions with PC Financial, Loblaw Companies Limited, George Weston Limited and KPMG. She has also sat on the board of directors and acted as the treasurer of multiple charitable organizations in Toronto. She is also a proud mother of three children.

Prior to joining Capital Developments, Michael was an Estimator at Multiplex in Australia where he worked on some of Melbourne’s largest high rise residential projects for over 7 years. Outside of work Michael is an avid traveller and hiker with a passion for landscape and aerial drone photography. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Construction Management and Architecture from Deakin University in Australia.

Justin manages development projects at Capital Developments and has over 10 years of high-rise residential design and construction experience that include award-winning and LEED-certified projects. Prior to joining Capital Developments, Justin was a Senior Design Development Manager at Pemberton Group’s construction management division, Saddlebrook Management Consultants, where he was responsible for managing a development pipeline of 5 million SF through the design and permitting phases. Prior to joining the development industry, Justin was a project architect for IBI Group's high-rise residential division for 6 years. Justin is a proud husband and father, avid traveler, and foodie. Justin is an OAA licensed architect and LEED® Accredited Professional with an M.Arch from the University of Toronto and B.Comm/B.A from the University of Calgary.

Vahid manages construction projects at Capital Developments, leveraging extensive engineering and project management experience from Liberty Development and consulting firms such as Hatch, Jablonsky, Ast and Partners, and RJC Engineers. His background includes high-profile projects such as Portland Commons, Nobu Residences, and Queen Richmond Center Phase 2, within a diverse portfolio valued at over $3 billion. Vahid is a licensed Professional Engineer and PMP certified, holding a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Outside of work, Vahid is passionate about hiking, and enjoys making and playing music for creativity and relaxation. He loves travelling, embracing the opportunity to experience different cultures and landscapes around the world.

Deanna has over 7 years of experience in warranty resolution for new home builders. Here at Capital Developments, Deanna oversees the warranty resolution and customer care office at our Azura project. Prior to joining the Capital Developments team, Deanna was the Assistant Manager of Customer Care at Kaitlin Corporation. While there, Deanna oversaw the warranty resolution for all low-rise and mid-rise projects. Deanna graduated with a BSc Psychology from Southern Adventist University, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Outside of work life, Deanna enjoys spending time with her 3 children, traveling, camping, baking, and hiking with her dogs.

Prior to Capital Developments, Giancarlo managed Land Acquisitions for North American Development Group where he was responsible for the acquisition of mixed-use development opportunities and identifying new growth markets through out Ontario. Giancarlo enjoys travelling, cycling and spending time with his family. He is proud member of the board for Brain Cancer Canada and a 5-time participant of the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Giancarlo has a diploma in Business Management from George Brown College.

Kessel actively participated in the launch of more than a dozen significant projects in Toronto where he meticulously handled the back-end sales tracking for thousands of successful transactions. Kessel’s enduring passion for the real estate industry and his commitment to achieving new milestones continue to make him a highly valuable member of the team.
